Area of interest: I am very much interested to work in the area of zero-waste fashion. According to literature, it has established that approximately 15% material is wasted during manufacturing which is known as pre-consumer fabric waste. But still there is no quantitative literature about the total amount of postconsumer clothing or apparel waste all over the world. I want to investigate the scenario of postconsumer clothing waste alongside plans to upcycle them in a way thus it can resell in the market. Hopefully, I can contribute in one of the key theme of Future Fashion Factory that is the “Circular economy”- sustainability and waste. I can utilize unavoidable wastes generated during production and also can redesign the postconsumer waste for another purpose as like recycled fashion.

Expertise: I am expert in embellishing clothing manually by several stitches like back, running, cross, blanket, zigzag, hand embroidery etc. as I was fascinated to this work since my childhood. I can also design dresses and can make crafts from the fabric waste.
