- What are your aspirations and plans for the future?: We are sourcing new developments of fabrications that are eco-friendly from natural sources such as alternatives to silk. We would also like to incorporate recycling fabrications appealing to the luxury market. Improving our packaging and branding, we want to explore compostable packaging for our hangtags and ecommerce boxes to be aligned with our eco-friendly and ethical standpoint. We intend to evolve AVIE into the eco-luxury lifestyle brand including; womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, homeware and accessories to embracing our unique vision, innate strength and evolving with our customer needs.
- What types of projects are you interested in working on through Future Fashion Factory?: The type of projects I would be interested in are to do new developments with luxury fabrications (cashmere, wool, silk), either through new technologies or methods. For example; alternatives to silk or recycling silk. We have a keen interest to working with coconut fibre, wood pulp, seaweed, beech trees (natural synthetic options), vegetable cashmere (by product of soya beans) rPET (recycled polyester) for our ranges offering alternatives to wool/silk that are still considered luxury fabrications and eco-friendly.
