SeFF Fibre Ltd
SeFF Fibre Ltd is a technology company that has patented an environmentally friendly process for cottonising hemp. SeFF hemp can be utilised alone, or blended with a variety of fibres (cotton, wool & synthetics), and can be spun on existing spinning equipment, to produce fine quality yarns for high value industries.
SeFF Fibre Ltd works directly with brands and their supply chains to incorporate SeFF hemp into a variety of products. We are currently producing SeFF for multiple apparel sectors including denim, high fashion, sports and outdoor industries, and SeFF can also be utilised in the home furnishings, non wovens, medical, cosmetic and technical textile applications.

- What are your aspirations and plans for the future?: Expansion of SeFF processing facilities through licensing within the UK to increase the volume of SeFF hemp in the marketplace as well as contributing to a sustainable hemp supply chain in the UK; increasing the number of brands, across multiple sectors, utilising SeFF hemp to make high quality, better performing products, both from an environmental and performance perspective.
- What types of projects are you interested in working on through Future Fashion Factory?: We are interested in collaborations with both manufacturers and brands. From a manufacturing perspective: exploring the ways in which the SeFF hemp process can be incorporated into existing systems to create new revenue streams. Developing SeFF hemp yarns, fabrics and products to meet sustainability goals is also of interest, refining structures to meet the desired aesthetic and performance attributes.
