I am an award-winning graphic artist and designer based in Kyiv, Ukraine, specializing in art and fashion, founder of Nakol.art.
Now I am in Falmouth, England, with my 10-year-old daughter.
Nakol.art is an ironic, intellectual, narrative brand.
The prints on the basis of which the fabric for the collection is created are independent author’s works with a pronounced fantastic plot.
My illustrations and graphics are designed to captivate and sometimes even frighten viewers, while holding them in a powerful magnet of intrigue and skill. With the help of a vivid imagination and a good sense of humor, I transform reality into a fabulous world of personal dreams. This transformation is reflected in my exquisite silk scarves, which are both stylish accessories and works of art.
The collection of silk scarves features square-shaped upside-down paintings that can be viewed from any side, in sizes of 138×138 and 98×98 cm, as well as scarves in 46×210 cm size. The fine detailing and high-quality prints on silk make these scarves suitable for use as both interior elements and fashion accessories.
My focus is on creating exceptional products that are not tied to any specific season. Whether used as a statement piece to enhance an outfit or as a decorative element in a room, my silk scarves are designed to elevate the wearer’s style and provide a unique and captivating experience. One of the main principles of my brand is sustainability and limited editions.
Since 2017, I have gained inspiring experience participating in international design festivals such as Paris Design Week, Frankfurt Ambiente, and Stockholm Formex. As a Talent Designer with silk scarves, I have repeatedly showcased my work at these festivals.
In October 2018, I held a solo exhibition as part of Ukraine Days at the United Nations in Vienna. In September 2019, I was awarded the Silver Prize in the Epson Digital Fashion competition.
My brand was selected to represent Ukraine at the Tallinn Design Festival’s online business tour. In October 2020, I won the Silver Prize in the international New Fashion Zone competition. In November 2020, I participated in a Ukrainian contemporary art exhibition in Bangkok, where my silk kimono project was one of the three featured parts.
Since October 2021, I have been selected by the jury of the Golden Leaf of Contemporary Artists competition for publication in a special issue of the Art Market magazine. In June 2022, I participated in the exhibition “Supernova. Art of Ukraine” at the Basel Art Center. Additionally, I won the European Product Design Award in the Home Interior category in August, and participated in the Helsinki Design Week&Design Market in September. In October, I was selected to represent Ukraine at the High Point Market in the USA. Most recently, in January 2023, I was honored to win the 16th International Design Award in three categories: Gold in Print/Ads, Silver in Multimedia Social Campaign, and Bronze in Accessories.
