Cooli’s main interest is to create sustainable fashion from preloved garments and fabrics, by mixing art and fashion. I enjoy pushing boundaries by using contrasting styles and fabrics to create original pieces. I design this way as it is a more creative process and is good for minimising the amount of textile waste going to landfill.
I feel I have a lot to offer in Future Fashion projects as I love to promote sustainable fashion, by using art and design techniques to give a visual impact.

- What are your aspirations and plans for the future?: My main aspiration is to earn a living by being creative and to love the job I do. I will develop the ‘Cooli’ brand by getting involved in fashion shows, photoshoots for social media and magazines. I am currently in the process of building my online presence and hopefully a successful online store. It would be nice to use my Art and Fashion experience to work within the community inspiring people to reuse and upcycle. I have recently taken part in the charity fashion show ‘Fashion Fiesta 2019’ where I won best Fashion Designer while helping to raise money for two charities. I really enjoyed being part of this event and I would like to be involved next year.
- What types of projects are you interested in working on through Future Fashion Factory?: I am not fully aware of everything Future Fashion Factory has yet to offer, but I am open to all opportunities. For example: fashion shows and events; magazine articles; fashion photography; working in the community; charity work; workshops; art installations; sustainability.
