Backstage Academy Ltd
Backstage Academy Ltd is a private university created to supply talent into the live events industry covering music touring, theatre. TV, live events, conferences, trade shows and exhibitions. We are based on Production Park in Wakefield which is Europe’s largest cluster of live events businesses and have access to a range of facilities from arena scale studios, workshops for scenic art and set build to rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing including 3D printing.
We have been developing in-house expertise in virtual production and immersive experiences which are taught on our degree courses and fed into client projects through our XPLOR R&D Centre. We are interested in building relationships with anyone from a fashion brand interested in expanding the way fashion is shown to include immersive and virtual production methodology or to events companies specialising in fashion exhibition.

- What are your aspirations and plans for the future?: We are developing a 4000 sq ft fully equipped research centre opening in September 2021 and support team with a virtual production space suitable for fashion brand activation, training events, conferences and exhibitions.
