- What are your aspirations and plans for the future?: Fast fashion, which was popular, I think will change in favour of slow fashion pieces that are more eco-friendly and designed to be longer lasting. I think the consumers look for brands that take a stand for the environment. My aim is to bring an innovative and sustainable method to design products using a mix of leather, vegetable tanned leather and cork that combines the traditional with the eco-friendliness of reusable materials to high end fashion. I also aim to raise awareness and educate on how to integrate reusable materials into accessories, jewellery and fashion in order to further the scope of sustainable fashion.
- What types of projects are you interested in working on through Future Fashion Factory?: High-impact innovation projects focused on sustainability and creating viable circular economies; to promote and develop fashion education and research, innovative and sustainable method to design products, traditional techniques, eco-friendliness of reusable materials to high end fashion.
