Anamad

 End of Life / Re-Manufacturing

Anamad is a startup comprised of two founders with a history in research and development. Our company is developing an advanced water treatment device that is low cost in operation but highly effective at the destruction of persistent pollutants in complex wastewaters, including dyes, microfibers and microplastics. We have secured grant funding from Innovate UK, RAEng, and the Southampton Science park Catalyst.

We are interested in developing our technology to address industries that are currently poorly served in water treatment due to ongoing costs, challenges of space, or complex effluents.

  • What are your aspirations and plans for the future?: We are interested in partnering with companies that are open to sharing their needs to develop a device that is fit for purpose. We hope to deliver a device ready for manufacture by the end of the year and would like a partner that could demonstrate the efficacy of a prototype.
  • What types of projects are you interested in working on through Future Fashion Factory?: Initially we would like to understand the costs associated with water use in textile manufacturing, the nature of the effluent, and the needs of the customer. Working towards testing of a product, demonstration of cost effective treatment, and re-use of water.
