Unaji & Co. is an art and design company which specialises in Fashion, Fine Art and Project Management. Using vibrant and captivating art pieces, our practice explores utopia whilst challenging social constructs.
Our Ready-to-Wear and Upcycled vintage clothing range explores the duality of sustainability and fashion, the style of which takes a consumer through the ‘journey of an artist’, from workwear in the studio, to formal wear in a gallery.
Our brand is both ethical and economically efficient and embodies a sophisticated design acumen that maximises resources.
The diverse network which we have established since the inception of this company is testament to the great value we place upon social capital. This is further compounded by the unique and strong consumer relationships we have developed over the years.

- What are your aspirations and plans for the future?: In the immediate future, Unaji & Co. will look to build and expand its network, exploring avenues for UK-based manufacturing thus allowing us to develop our collections at market speed and in larger volumes. Our brand holds a strong belief in maximising resource efficiency, and the minimisation of waste from a product’s life cycle plays a crucial role in this. As such, we will look to identify and gain access to deadstock from UK retailers as a material supply for our own collections. We will also look to identify opportunities for partnerships with like-minded brands with the aim of furthering recognition of our company whilst simultaneously supporting and uplifting others. In its current state, one could argue that the fashion industry is subject to elitism. Therefore, we wish to support local communities and talent by providing opportunities to underprivileged creatives in spaces that are often overlooked. Overall, we seek to expand our knowledge of the fashion industry, and the knowledge of those around us.
- What types of projects are you interested in working on through Future Fashion Factory?: Unaji & Co. hold a keen interest in research; specifically exploring: ways in which digital and physical consumer experiences can be enhanced; innovative modes of marketing with new and existing technology; sustainable modes of textile and garment production. We also want to seek out opportunities for collaborations with academics in order to explore new, sustainable materials and improving the efficiency of supply chains (product life cycles).
