Globally, the apparel industry produces ~92M tons of textile waste a year. Our mission is to make this number zero. Since launching in 2020, SXD has been turning leftover fabrics into beautiful and efficient zero waste clothing designs. These minimal zero waste designs consume less raw material and cost about 55% less to produce. Recently, SXD was featured in Harper’s Bazaar Japan as a company Redefining the Fashion Ecosystem. It also became the first fashion startup to win numerous prizes, including the Grand Prize at the Harvard Business School New Venture Competition.
