I have experience in interning at a garment factory in Nepal, where I observed a sustainable approach to the manufacturing process. I learnt about dyes, fabrics, measurements and cutting during my internship at star fashion and also gained experience is B2B customer relationship by sitting in and taking notes on meetings with their customers.
My experience in organising a large-scale charity fashion show with over 200 attendees raising £3000, when creating relationship with the designers. Being one of the main organisers for the event developed various other skills. This was a one-year project, involved contacting Nepali designers- widening my network. Furthermore, I had to manage one of the brands due to absence of designer which meant gathering, creating outfits for models/organising models and clothes for the brand, this tested my time management and organisational skills. Designing the promotional material, creating tickets/posters and social media promotions using Canva and photoshop developed my skill in social media communications.

- What are your aspirations and plans for the future?: I’m very passionate about fashion and I aspire to work with fashion brands in the future to become sustainable and avoid the negative impacts of the fashion industry. I hope to understand the management and logistics including e-commerce marketing and supply chain management of an ethically conscious and sustainable fashion brand.
