Puffins Fashion Ltd

Design & Manufacturing (Outerwear / Sportswear)

In Puffins, we want to prove clothing with features that make life much easier for people with disabilities can also look stylish and unique.

As a lifelong advocate for people of disabilities, I would be able to provide deep insights about disability and accessibility, and expand people’s understanding of “purple pound” opportunities.

Working in Adaptive Clothing, I see a huge market for universal, easy dressing design clothes that includes the needs of people with disabilities. The value of the adaptive fashion market has now surpassed 400 billion, but major brands are still only making token gestures to service customers with adaptive needs. I’m certain that we can see similar stories in many other sectors and segments.

  • What are your aspirations and plans for the future?: Moving forward, we are planning to expand the range of our products. Next year we will present an adaptive blazers collection. 80% of disabilities are acquired between the ages of 18 and 64 – the workforce age. After interviews with our clients and potential customers, we could see how incredibly underserved this niche is. People with disabilities are and want to be active members of society, look professional and feel comfortable in a business environment. I’m looking for other companies to potentially collaborate on such a collection.
  • What types of projects are you interested in working on through Future Fashion Factory?: I’m interested in co-designing with other brands. Such collaborations could enable both of our companies to reach new audiences. In Puffins, we have high expertise in adaptive clothing features for people with disabilities. I would be interested in building partnerships with companies that would like to expand easy dressing elements.
