- What are your aspirations and plans for the future?: H Dawson continues to seek improved sustainability in all areas of the business. From working with environmentally sound technologies and fibres through to farm level, where a focus area is holistic regenerative farming practices and carbon sequestration. HDWool has recently been successful in an Innovate UK and Sky Ocean Ventures funding application, where the funds will support the project work to improve the wash stability of a nonwoven wool insulation material range. The resulting products should provide an alternative to polyester wadding in apparel. The company appreciates wool as a high-performance fibre with sustainable end of life options and strives to evidence and communicate this to a broad range of market sectors for diverse applications.
