Fashion Interrupted Ltd
Fashion Interrupted aims to create immersive art and fashion residencies with a focus on creative expression, process and professional development using emerging digital technology. A brand and educational platform, Fashion Interrupted aims to create digital artifacts (NFTs, wearables, digital fashion) as well as immersive experiences to showcase work and provide learning opportunities for mid-career designers via short courses and residencies.
Fashion Interrupted aims to create space to reflect, experiment and find new ways of working and operating within fashion, allowing participants and workshop leaders to find common ground. Through Future Fashion Factory, I hope to meet with like-minded fashion creatives, be aware of opportunities and to make connections with potential future collaborators.

- What are your aspirations and plans for the future?: Fashion Interrupted is a work-in-progress which aims to produce digital garments as well as creating a fertile learning environment, forging connections between Scottish designers and digital fashion industry leaders. I am currently undertaking a research project into digital fashion, showcasing and the metaverse, with the hope to enable Scottish designers to be at the forefront of this new sector, aware of how it can benefit their businesses and impact the sector as a whole.
- What types of projects are you interested in working on through Future Fashion Factory?: I have funding from Creative Scotland to do some research into digital fashion; I aim to immerse myself in the digital fashion sector, exploring digital couture, digital pattern cutting, NFTs, blockchain technologies, AR/VR and the Metaverse. I want to look at sustainability, digital scarcity and emerging marketplaces; how they can benefit my practise as a designer and educator as well as benefit the wider Scottish fashion community. Through Future Fashion Factory, I am keen to connect with people in the fields of digital pattern cutting, digital couture, showcasing, blockchain technologies and the Metaverse.
