Cashmere Circle

 Design & Manufacturing (Apparel)

Cashmere Circle is committed to reducing the luxury fashion industry’s environmental footprint by promoting true wardrobe sustainability: extending the life of existing garments and closing the loop with our creative cashmere recycling project.

Our ultra-efficient repair and revive service blends pioneering garment cleaning technology with traditional artisan skills – all based in the Scottish Borders and Central Belt. Years down the line when the garment is beyond repair, we’ll recycle it into something new to start the process all over again. Completely circular, zero waste.

  • What are your aspirations and plans for the future?: We want to promote the benefits of natural fibres for their longevity, natural composition, and their ability to biodegrade at the end of their life cycle. With more people wearing natural fibres that can last for generations if cared for appropriately, we hope to slow the luxury fashion industry and promote conscious consumption. The opportunities for scale are super exciting and, if embraced as planned, will help the UK regain its position as a global textiles leader ready for a more sustainable future: a global hub for sustainable textiles, knitwear and garment care.
  • What types of projects are you interested in working on through Future Fashion Factory?: We’re committed to circularity and take great interest in all innovative and sustainable products and processes emerging from FFF. We want to be at the forefront of eco-fashion innovation and FFF is an ideal community to be part of for this.
