Our job at British Wool is to collect, grade and sell the wool on behalf of British sheep farmers.
We work on behalf of producers to maximise the returns received for their wool, adding value through grading, and minimising the risk of price volatility by selling wool on behalf of producers at auctions throughout the year.
UK has more sheep breeds than any country in the world – over sixty different breeds cared for by more than 40,000 farmers on hills and lowlands. British Wool gives Future Fashions Factory projects a key partner to work with the UK wool industry and gain access to local wool knowledge.
