WOVEN Go & See: Innovation Special

There are amazing things happening in the world of textiles in Kirklees and the surrounding area. Businesses and academics are working on brilliant new textiles technologies. Hear about some of the most exciting innovative ways that textiles are being used, with speakers drawn from Future Fashion Factory’s community of researchers and industry partners.

Virtual reality technology that allows you to “feel” fabric from thousands of miles away; “smart” clothing that can monitor your vital signs: these are just a couple of examples of the innovations that are being developed in this area.

The event will feature short presentations from speakers with a chance for you to ask them questions. Confirmed speakers include:
