Future Fashion Factory and our partners Leeds City Council and Zero Waste Leeds are joining forces for our Zero Waste Competition.

We are looking for independent designers in the Leeds City Region taking fresh approaches to sustainable fashion.

The successful designers will receive a special photoshoot with 360° product images to help you share and sell your work online – a one-day shoot for the winner and a half-day for the runner up.

To enter, send us:

  • 3-5 images of your designs
  • Tell us how your designs are ‘Zero-waste’ in any format you like – text, audio or video.

We want to see innovative design ideas that help make fashion socially and environmentally sustainable, as we move toward a circular economy that maximises the value of every resource.

Submit your entries to contact@futurefashionfactory.org from Monday 3 August 2020

Competition closes: 21 August 2020

Winners will be informed no later than 1 September and you must be available to travel to the studio during September 2020.

Update: Adam Mansell to judge Zero Waste Competition

We are thrilled that Adam Mansell, chief executive of UK Fashion and Textile Association (UKFT), will be the judge of our Zero Waste Competition.

A core partner of Future Fashion Factory, UKFT is an inclusive network for fashion and textile companies in the UK, bringing together designers, manufacturers, agents, suppliers and retailers to promote the industry both at home and abroad.

Adam will judge the winner and runner-up in our competition, and we would like to say a huge thank you to UKFT for their support.
