Join us in an online fashion archive webinar, taking place 11am-12pm April 12th, via Zoom.

Delivered by Elaine Evans from the Yorkshire Fashion Archive and Dr Danielle Sprecher from the Westminster Menswear Archive, the webinar will use examples from both collections and will address:

• Yorkshire as a historical centre of textile manufacturing,
• what can we learn about historical clothing and how this affects contemporary fashion, including how the contemporary fashion industry uses archives,
• different forms of mending and how this informs ‘conscious consumerism’.
